To those who got into Princeton....
Did anyone use the SAT subject test score choice to hide some bad scores (I mean like bad bad scores...600s?)? People extremely discourage me from using the score choice policy. Some even say that even though you hide bad scores, colleges can actually see all of your scores. So there is no point of using the policy in the first place. Did anyone hide some bad scores using the policy and still get in?

I’m planning on using it…Princeton accepts it. I don’t see what’s so bad about it. And if they can see all your scores anyway even though you use a policy to only show them certain scores that would be very concerning…That would make it an inherently dishonest policy. Someone clarify that please.

Yes - our son used it. Yes he had some scores from his first write that he didn’t want to report and we have no indication that those were ever disclosed to Princeton or anyone else. Don’t let anyone scare you off from using it. If the college board does in fact disclose information without your permission, that would be a major issue. Go for it.

Pretty sure Princeton still allows score choice, so if you want to use it, why not? I did…

Princeton’s website says they allow it. I’m going to use it, and I’m sure a fair number of people do to.
