Did I choose good monologues?

Hello! First post here. I just wanted to know if the monologues I chose are not overdone and are contrasting for my audition!

I have two schools wanting a class and contemporary, and for them I chose, "And Turning, stay" and one of Katherine's monologues from "The Taming Of The Shrew." For my two schools looking for contemporary work, I again have "And Turning, Stay" and Catherine's piece from "Proof." I genuinely like the plays I chose from, however I have struggled with finding good contemporary pieces that are not overdone. Thoughts?

I’ve heard these pieces done alot, they might be a smidge overdone…
BUT, the important thing is how you perform them. If you perform an overdone monologue better than one that isn’t overdone, do the overdone monologue because it needs to be about your performance and personal fit/connection to the piece.

Which one of Katherine’s monologues?
