did I damage my DD's chances?

I understand Yale's policy regarding sending all scores, or one or the other. Long story short, DD took the ACTas a "give your best shot" in September and got a 36.

Two years ago, as a 10th grader, we decided to send her SAT II score to Yale as one of her four free score reports, because she got a 760 on the world history exam.

She is taken the SAT twice and essentially got the same score both times, a 2210. She is also taken Math II(740) and US History (800).

As a ninth grader, I had her take Bio-E after which she only scored 690.

Are we required to send both sets of scores due to the auto – report two years ago?

if so, (and I think I know the answer to this question) what is this board's opinion on the 690 and the rest? – Thanks

Earlier versions will be seen in that context. Of course your kid’s recent scores will show great improvement over an 8th or 9th grade sitting. Yale will recognize this. Don’t worry. Congrats on your kid’s 36

If it was an ACT with writing you don’t need to send the SAT/SAT II scores even though you reported something two years ago since you are not using the SAT testing route to fulfill that standardized requirement. If it was an ACT without writing, she will need to either send the SAT/SAT II scores in total or retake the ACT with writing if she feels more confident about getting a 34+ on that test. Hope that won’t be necessary.

Are you sure YaleGradand Dad? I thought that if one was reported they all go into the hopper. Obviously it would be easier/cheaper to have them just see the 36 for her…

yes it was with writing…

I think you should have her contact the admissions office, but I predict they will tell her she can just send the current ACT.
