Did I just screw myself?

I got accepted into CSUN. Waiting on LBSU and CSUF.

I JUST realized that after this semester when I send my official transcripts, I will only have 57.5 csu units. Which means they will end up denying me admission even though they accepted me prior, right?

I don't think they allow lower division transfers. I will have all of the IGETC and those main courses completed with near a 3.0 but we must have miscalculated and I will only have 57.5 of actual completed csu courses.

What do I do? do I still have a shot at getting officially accepted into the school? or will they reject me in july when I send the transcripts?

I hate to tell you this, but you absolutely have to have your 60 units completed. Fullerton MIGHT let it slide. I would call them. LB won’t due to the intense competitiveness. Your best bet is to try to find a late start class in anything that is transferable just to get the units.

I hope you live in the service area for LB because if you don’t, your chances are kinda slim if you have less than a 3.0. Most of those accepted have 3.0 and up, and very few are getting in with less. The CSUs are only taking 10% of out of area applicants and if you are out of area, you need a pretty high GPA. I’ve seen someone on here get into Fullerton with a 3.5 from outside the service area, which is good because I heard you need a 3.7. But CSULB… eerp. Honestly, I don’t even want to think about what they require for out of area students! :(

Try to find another class- it’s the only way you’ll be able to keep your admission if you get in to CSULB.

They aren’t going to let it slide, hate to tell you. I applied last spring semester with 59 Units and tried to slip in but they denied me on on my denial letter they said they only reason they denied me was because I was 1 unit short…1 unit. So I highly doubt they will accept you sorry to say.
