Just a bit neurotic and want to confirm.
Most of schools (exempt a few) only require:
- FAFSA
- CSS Profile
- IDOC submissions of tax, waivers, etc (all required documents).
I know there are obvious exemptions and some schools require physical copies of tax returns, etc… But I wanted to confirm if these 3 things are the major requirements / necessities when applying for financial aid to ensure I didn’t skip something (Yes I added all schools to FAFSA and Profile)
Thanks
There are supplemental forms and each university has its own version. You need to ask and check the website.
@Neurotic2027
There is no such thing as a major or not requirement for financial aid application forms. EVERYTHING a specific school has on their list is a MAJOR requirement because without any item, your application will be incomplete.
As @“aunt bea” noted, you need to check EACH of your college websites…every single one…and make sure you have submitted everything each school requires. This varies wildly by college…so there is no way for anyone here to know if you have made all the required submissions for each of YOUR colleges.
So…today…check each college financial aid website. Each one. Make sure you have submitted to each college ALL the things each college wants.
(As an example…Princeton has its own financial aid form…doesn’t use the Profile).
