Did my first two years ruin me?

I definitely don’t think the first two years ruined you, just as long as you stay reasonable in your college search. Your academic record shows that you have greatly improved over your high school years, which is something that colleges like to see. You may not have the best shot at an Ivy league school, but I think you could definitely get into a pretty good state or even private school.

They will make getting into Harvard or MIT extremely difficult if you don’t have a good hook, but they aren’t keeping out out anywhere else. Just make up with your APs and SAT score, write a great essay (maybe one explaining how you turned everything around), and be happy that you’ll probably get some academic scholarships at a state school and end up better off than you would if you’d been tempted into a slightly better school that didn’t offer any money.

Also, I’m pretty sure some universities remove your freshman grades from their GPA calculations.

Would universities such as Fordham, St. Johns U, Oregon, and UC’s still be in reach?

as a potential Bio major

Did you not get accepted anywhere last year? You would need to adjust your application plan based on what you learned this last spring.

What is your UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
What are your test scores and EC’s? Are you in-state CA? Senior year grades are not considered in UC admissions, just 10-11th grades for the a-g course requirements. I see no Visual/Performing arts class on your schedule. For the UC’s, you need 1 year as a requirement.

@Gumbymom - I see acting in sophomore year. That would likely count for UC arts (but OP should confirm this).

@eddie32300 and @Otterma: Sorry, I missed that, so OP you are good with all the a-g course requirements are covered. Still need the other information.
