I submitted a TAG application and a normal application. However, I was not eligible for TAG for the following reason:

TAG submission requires that a student attains 30 units before Fall 2011. I had only 28 units and still submitted a TAG application.

In mid-march I was accepted to UCD and now I am afraid that they will see my application again and revoke my acceptance.

Is that possible? I know I've been admitted by TAG because it says so on my contract.

Can they revoke my acceptance if they get another look?

I do have 60+ units done by this spring, though.

Or maybe your tag was actually not valid but still accepted you because you were a qualified applicant?

Wait, you said UCD and you posted a Ucsd provisional admissions page…

Sorry, idk why the autocorrect always corrects UCSD to UCD.

Are you sure you only had 28?!

28 including or excluding AP scores? This is key, as some schools count AP credits toward the initial 30-unit requirement (like UCSD) and some don’t (like UCI, I believe).

Yes 28 excluding AP scores

It really doesn’t matter. They accepted you and didn’t make a mistake. They knew you had 28 units, and even if they didn’t, they wouldn’t care anyway. They don’t look to reject students who have their normal transfer requirements done. As long as you will meet normal requirements (60 units, IGETC, etc.) you’re fine.

It isn’t required to have 30 units when you apply (for non-tag), it is only a requirement that you complete 60 units by the end of spring.

@andrewexd

You technically “need” 30 units for TAG, but for normal admission it doesn’t matter. You just need 60 by Spring.

I wouldn’t be complaining or saying anything about it lol
