Did you do an online tour before you visited?

<p>Hey, this is my first post here on CC. I've just finished freshmen year at Carnegie Mellon, so I've already been through this whole process :D Looking back, I felt like the whole college search process had plenty of room for improvement, so I've got a little project going on this summer.</p>

<p>Anyways, I've got a few simple questions:</p>

<p>1) Did you do an online tour before you visited?
2) Did you think the online tour accurately portrayed the campus, once you visited?
3) Did any online tours actually turn you off from visiting?</p>

<p>I took Columbia's virtual tour, which basically consists of lots of pictures and some 360 degree views. I visited last month and it was very much like I expected it to be! :)</p>
