I sure did. wonder what Batman felt...

The one this afternoon was scary! And yeah, I felt the one now

PS: Yoshua was right…? lol

Yep during the exam too while there’s a random dog in the classroom lol…There’s another one around 30 mins ago

yes and I think I just felt another one a few minutes ago

yes *** is up with the earthquakes today

I’m afraid of earthquakes mainly because of how old these buildings are

campus buildings go through somewhat rigorous testing,
but the off campus houses are mostly at least 50, if not 70-80 years old

the building that I live in would be one of the first to give in …

^ my apartment has signs near the entrance admitting that a fair enough shake would bring this place to pieces. If we get a 5 or 6 or something tonight while we’re all sleeping, it was nice virtually-knowing you all. See you all after the rapture.

edit: hypothetically speaking, if a portion of the undergrad class died in an earthquake do you think they’d give out posthumous diplomas? That’d be nice… But I guess they probably wouldn’t… http://uhs.berkeley.edu/death-response/all/posthumous_awards.html

Are you guys serious??? What about Foothill???

did the dog start barking like crazy before it happened?

i live in an old apartment building too and i’m worried :/

foothill is pretty new right? OMG bowles!!! they’re screwed!

LemonCat: dorms are safe. don’t worry. It’s the off campus housings that are slanted (because after earthquake, parts of the houses/buildings fell, but they never bothered to do extensive work on that),. not really fit for earthquake/seismic retrofit, that you have to worry about.

I really fear for my safety and for the fate of the buliding I live in should we have a quake that is above 4.5

And I heard the one this afternoon was 4.2…

THAT’s WHAT SHE SAID!
THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!

Damn earthquake nearly knocked me off my gargoyle whilst I was scanning the city.

Shouldn’t (the) Campanilee (minus the extra e for the phallic symbol in the middle of our campus) be one of the least afraid thing of quakes in the area? That thing goes down like 100 feet or something.

haha dammit batman…i got so excited when i saw the title since i knew what i was gonna post…youre like dwight…stealing ma jokezzzz.

my building is like 100 years ago…im pretty sure if we get anything bigger itll be byebye W4C lol.

there have been quite a few bigger than 4.2 over the last 100 years

It seems like California natives didn’t think too much of the 4.2 (or 4.0 is what they’re now calling it)…? I was friggin crapping my pants, guys.

OOS here ^^^

2 more smaller ones within the past 1 hour

seriously what is up with Hayward Fault…

All the OOS kids were freaking out so bad! (their first quake)…and then my math prof was like you know, the Hayward fault goes right through the goal posts of the stadium. Oh, the look on their faces XD

Is it just me or did anyone else feel like 10 more tiny quakes a few hours ago?? I swear I have some kind of depressingly wimpy PTSD from the first and second quakes, LOL

hmmm…it might have just been you haha

There was def another tremor just now…

I am scared. Almost **** myself this time around
