Did you get accepted?

what do you mean haber?

he means she'll get her acceptance letter in a few days

yay!!! i got in with the regents scholarship. Now at least i know i'll go to college...

was your acceptance posted on the 1st AMISMART?

yes...it was posted on the 1st but i didn't have time to post

I got accepted but I didn't get a scholarship. Darn.

when you you recieve your acceptance melody? cause I still haven't recieved anything yet.

OK - now I am worried. I have that same "check back" message. I was worried before because grades are not that great but then I started getting my hopes up because I was not immediately rejected. Anyone want to chance me?

GPA - 2.8 uw 3.2 w
SAT - 1990 (700 writing, 620 math, 670 verbal)

Mostly honors with 2 APs and 2 IBs
Diagnosed with ADD junior year

ECs - Eagle Scout - lots of cs
Marching Band
Wrestling
Black Belt - Tae Kwon Do
Outside job 10-20 hrs/week
Various leadership and MUN awards

i think you should be able to get in.

Shouldn't you get automatically rejected? The minimum GPA to apply is 3.0 unweighted and you have 2.8 unweighted.

Actually the minimum is 3.0 weighted

Meh, if I can't get into UCR on the first deadline, I'm sure my chances at UCI are slim to none, so if I get in, I'll probably end up going here.

if i dont get into ucd or ucsc..then i shall see you ,mr california bolt, in ucr! =]

wow, im seriously thinking about just going ahead and calling...

has anybody recieved their acceptance notification AFTER feb 1st?

i check that freakin website almost twice a day just to get let down. can i atleast get a decision?!

Wow i used to live in omaha!

srry on topic: yeah i think you should call them. Maybe they are still looking at your application.

Yeah I'll probably see some of you guys at UCR, thats if I get in.

No worries.. you'll get in.

If you guys do decide to attend UCR, here are some advice for the dorms.

If you want a quiet and relaxing environment I recommend Pentland Hills.

If your a die hard sports/athletic kind of individual, consider A&I. Its close to the Rec Center. I believe this is the oldest dormitory at UCR. I mention this b/c some people want to live in the newer dorms.

If you like to go "crazy" try West Lothian. Most densely populated dormitory=more student interaction. (I lived here)

East Lothian is like a balance between Pentland and West Lo.

If you guys have more questions you can ask me here or highlanderforum.net. Hopefully others in the highlanderforum community can give you their input.

Good luck everyone
