<p>I got accepted to ucsc, and on my ucsc portal it says Statement Of Legal Residence due in 4/25. That was 3 months ago, so i'm filling it out, and im going to mail it. I asked my friends about it and they said that it's not even on their to do list on the ucsc portal. So what im asking is that do you guys think that my tardiness of mailing this form, that my friends dont even have to mail, is going to hinder my chances of getting into ucsc?</p>

<p>Given that you’re already accepted and this sounds like it has more to do with how much you have to pay than with academics, I doubt turning in the form late will put your admission in jeopardy.</p>
<p>You’re more likely to run into problems with the internal bureaucracy than with the admissions office at this point (e.g., not getting your housing preferences, fighting over in-state tuition, difficulties with the financial aid office).</p>
