Summer Programs:
This is a state-funded month-long program where I studied flight science at Appalachian State University for 4 weeks. I learned about the effects of air resistance and drag coefficient, as well as lift, thrust, and gravity, on the flight of a rocket in order to achieve maximum apogee and flight time. For my final product, I successfully designed a model rocket that achieved a maximum apogee of over 300 meters and a flight time of 26 seconds (this was completed through the use of a recovery system that deployed as predicted in test flights), as well as the composition of a paper that described the physics behind its construction and an in-depth analysis of the data

Bumpp Happy New Years!

Well, you have to report your subject tests for most if not all of those schools. Excellent ECs and leadership is there too. Not much sports, lots of med stuff (average indian…lol jk). Good stuff overall, I’d be willing to bet that you will get into a toptier school. Good luck.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1056376-chance-me-plz.html</a></p>

Actually if you just submit your ACT you’re not required to submit subject tests. Thanks for the feedback! I chanced you back.

Pretty much a good match everywhere, you’ll get into most of these schools. The only reaches could be Duke, Northwestern, and Penn, but your ECs and internships are really impressive and should carry you.

Your EC’s are very nice. a kick ass essay and great recs will help you, of course.

just my personal predictions… don’t take them too seriously because i am no admissions officer… hopefully, you’ll get into all of those schools! :)

I think you have a good chance at all schools, because you really focused your EC’s, and don’t just have a laundry list.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1035638-help-out-nuerotic-junior-top-tiers-ill-chance-back-you-know-you-want.html</a></p>

Duke off wait list - reach
Vanderbilt - match
Northwestern - target
UPenn - reach, Russian roulette (meaning anything can happen)
Rice - low reach

Like ^ said, most of us are just fellow high school students so don’t think our predictions are set in stone. Duke and UPenn are your biggest challenges, as they would be for anybody, but I don’t see why they would reject you right off the bat. I think that if your essays truly reflect your passion, then you’re set. Wish
you the best of luck.

Also agree with Hannah, it’s obvious that you’re dedicated to your ECs and colleges appreciate that more than historian/vp/pres of 250 clubs.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I chanced y’all back.
