Didn't write anything specifically about Vanderbilt in "why do you want to transfer" main CommonApp

I’m thinking now that it was very dumb. They have only one essay for transfers where I just talked about one of my ECs. Another essay is main CommonApp essay "provide a statement that addresses your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to achieve. " where I only mentioned Vanderbilt in the end in one sentence(I just replaced the name of the college for every college I applied to).

That essay is somewhat good, but I could have written a lot about why do I want to transfer to Vanderbilt specifically. I have now two options: either email them and ask to replace my essay or don’t bother. What do you guys think would be better? What would be worse: to look not particularly interested in Vanderbilt or to look irresponsible? Or maybe I could just ask me to transfer advisor what to do? Tell him that I’m regretting that I didn’t write more about Vanderbilt specifically and that I want to replace my old essay with the new one. I know its a bad situation, I’m just trying to figure out what to do now.

I wouldn’t be too worried because I doubt that they expect you to write about Vanderbilt in the main CA essay. It’s more about showing why it would be a good fit for you based on the college’s characteristics (i.e., you’d thrive in a school near a city with a vibrant social scene), rather than going into specifics. I did that and got in, plus I don’t know of anyone who wrote about Vanderbilt in the main essay and got in.

Recent Vanderbilt transfer here and current sophomore:
