<p>What is the difference between applying in the fall term then the spring term? is the spring term less competitive?</p>
<p>Last year I applied for the brandeis fall semester, and when I got my acceptance letter I had gotten accepted for the “MidYear class of 2018”. So basically I was accepted to start in the spring semseter. They do this so they can accept more students (juniors studying abroad have a certain housing which is given to midyears) I choice to go to brandeis and will be starting in January 2015. I don’t think it makes a difference in terms of acceptance which semseter you applied (since I had applied for fall and got spring), but if you think you’d like to start in jan instead of spetemeber then choose spring. I’m can’t comfirm it will help your app to put spring, but personally I love having a semseter off and i can save on a semseter on tuition! Let me know if you have any questions
