Is there really much of a difference in Economics and Business Economics?

One is attained at a business school while the other is a liberal arts degree.

I would think that business economics has a more practical focus and has more business type classes but still focuses on econ.

Probobly less theory and more applied economics and maybe a little bit of management.

my college (ucsd) only has economics but i want to do something in the business world... an economics degree is still a good tool for business grad school and the business world rite? cus i think its like how biology is good for medical school and being a doctor.
