Difference between Thesis and Non-thesis options in Technical Masters programs.

I am planning to apply to MBA programs in the future, but have been given the chance to of a one year masters program at my undergraduate institution and see it as a great opportunity currently. There are two program options for me, a thesis (research) based masters and a non thesis based masters. With an MBA in mind for the future, are both options looked at equally by an application committee?

Are both thesis based and non thesis based programs looked at the same, or is there more of a preference for an applicant who has written the Masters thesis, with their research? Is it something that is even noticed, or looked at in MBA applications?
