<p>So I heard that there's different types of essays that a college might accept based on the type that it is, that a quirky essay that may delight admissions officers in a liberal-arts college isn't something that big state colleges who are looking for a more basic but well-written essay. Is that true? </p>
<p>I want to send in a essay I did for some other schools to UIC but it's a bit quirky and I don't know if it's appropriate for a big state college like that.</p>
