Hey, I’m an out-of-state applicant from New York – how does UC treat different GPA scales? I get that they calculate UC GPA based on number of As/Bs et cetera, but my school grades on 100-points. Anything from a 90-100 is considered an A (- if between 90-92, but apparently UC ignores that,) but I know some schools do this differently, and if I don’t send my transcript until I get in, so UC won’t know exactly how a given HS’s system works, I’m wondering how UC schools will look at my grades – that is, will they treat a 91 as an A or a B?
