Difficulty accessing UT EID

<p>I'm a high school senior trying to apply for engineering honors, and I need to log in to my UT EID to complete my application. I don't remember ever creating a EID, but when I fill out my information it says there's already an EID in my name. I tried to claim it, but I obviously didn't know the password. I never set a password hint because I don't think I ever set a password either. I don't think the account is linked to any email address, either. I checked my email for anything related to the account and both of my parents' emails, and didn't find anything.</p>

<p>I could wait until tomorrow and call the admissions office, but if it's at all possible to resolve before that I'd like to do that so I can get everything sorted out as soon as I can. Has anybody had a similar problem with the system?</p>

<p>Did the system told you that there is already an EID in your name or your email? Because I forgot my UT EID too and it tell me exactly that the email has already been used I then checked the mail box and found it.
If the email is not linked, I think you’re free to create a new UT EID.</p>

<p>It’s in my name, but not my email. It won’t let me register for a different one with my name without calling the admissions office, and I might as well just claim the other one if that’s what I have to do.</p>
