I’m coveting one of these! I’ve seen online ads for the reMarkable 2 and also the Kindle Scribe. I think it would be great for, say, bringing to my mom’s doctor’s appointments and keeping notes there, also with insurance info, etc. I’m reminded of how much I loved Microsoft notes when I was working.
Anyone have any experience with either of these? Am I being dumb for even considering it? Im just tired of multiple paper notepads and notebooks that end up everywhere (except where I need them)
I should have been more clear. I do love the act of writing notes, as opposed to using my phone (I have a Pixel, not an iPhone)…I just feel like I can pay more attention to what’s being said. If I had a full keyboard, sure, that would work; but I’m not willing to bring a laptop in with me.
No, I wouldn’t jump in apple products if they are not your thing. They are pretty pricey since they are meant for more than just notetaking. But she has a screen saver that makes it feel more like paper and it’s been a godsend for her for notetaking in school. You have been really considering getting one of these devices for myself!
Not sure the question but do what works for you. If on Amazon, you can return it if it doesn’t work for you. I do speech recognition at work and it’s great for me. My wife won’t do it. Two different styles. I would read reviews etc to see how the writing devices interact and how it works in the real world. Let us know huw it works out.
