Dilemma between SAT II and EC

As a junior, I'm thinking about applying to a few schools via early action. Consequently, I need to have my applications turned in by November of this year (next semester).

After hearing about CB's new policy on mixing and matching, I decided that I would test the "New" SAT only once, and I have set April 1 for this date. I've already taken an SAT II science (Bio E), and now I want to take the SAT II in Math IIC.

I signed up for it last December for the January 28 date. But, this date is also the date for my region's science quiz bowl. I had made a commitment to my teacher that I would do this, but I did not realize when I registered for the SAT that there would be a conflict.

There doesn't seem to be many other options as far as [testing dates] are concerned. I won't take one during AP week in May, and in June, I plan to take a SAT II in US History.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Why can't you take it in March or October?

try march and october... they're good dates. good call on the may one... our school required us to take that one and I had aps on thurs and friday last year.
My life was a standardized test (thurs-aps, fri - aps, sat- SAT)

Actually, if you are taking an AP and and SAT II in the same subject, it would be to your advantage to take both nearly the same time if offered, because you could study for both at once and possibly come out with a higher score because of the depth needed to do well on the AP.

Yeah, last year I took APUSH on Friday, SAT II's in US and chem on Saturday, and AP chem the following Tuesday. It worked out well. Also, if you're having trouble finding test dates, be efficient and take two or three SAT II's at a time, rather than just one.

why not just take the Math IIC and US History SAT II on the same date in June?
