Cooljoe, First of all, you are fine. Many (and probably most) HS juniors have not taken the SAT yet. As for the SAT II, depending you might have been able to address one or two previously but you still have time. Next exam dates are March 1, May 3 and June 7. No you can NOT take both on the same day. And I don't think you would want to. When my son was your year, he took his first SAT on the May date and took two SAT II on the June date. He had taken one SAT II the previous year. He took his second (and final) SAT in October of his senior year. My daughter (a current junior) did SAT II Bio already, is doing her first SAT on March 1, skipping the May date (she will be out of town) and then taking Chemistry and Math I or II in June. Should she need another round, she will take that next October. Meanwhile we will consider the ACT (son did that also). She is skipping the April 12 ACT (has a conflict) but may take it next September should we decide to add it on). In terms of deadlline for college applications that will depend on the school you are applying to and whether you are applying ED, EA, SCEA or regular decision. Best advice is look up a number of the most selective schools you could be interested in. They will outline their requirements. For the most part two SAT II will cover schools but there are some schools that require three. Some schools are specific about which must be taken, especially if you are applying for a specific program like engineering. Take a little time tonight and I think you will have your answer about the March date. Personally unless you have a conflict with the May date, I might consider waiting. One other reason that I was glad my daughter is doing the earlier date is that she will be facing AP Bio and AP Chem exams in early May. Dealling with all three in 11 days and then facing the SAT II in june 25 days later may be a little much. Good luck.

For ED/EA/SCEA, the last test day for scores is either October or November, depending on the school.

For RD, generally the last test day is December, although some schools will accept January scores if you are retaking a subject (will not accept for first time testing)

Even if you do get a 5 on the AP exam, you will still need to take the SAT II as many colleges request those scores. Of course, if you can get a 5 on the AP exam, you shouldn't have any/too much difficulty with the corresponding SAT II!

You can take up to three IIs a day.
Depends on how good your stamina and concentration are.
Best advice is to take tests in subjects at which you excel.

I highly recommend splitting up the SAT IIs so you only take one test at each sitting - I did it in one and hated it.

If you've just finished trig - take the Math IIC exam. Calc is useless for the exam, so you'll just forget the old stuff. (I took calc my junior and senior year, and so when I took Math IIC, I was being tested on stuff I knew my soph year)
