Dilemma with picking a class for dual enrollment

Hello, I am currently a junior in high school and I am in a sort of dilemma. Currently I am doing PSEO/Dual enrollment at a community college, and I want to take a biology class to fulfill the general ed biological course theme at the college I want to attend. The thing is, I took AP Biology in 10th grade with an A-, I did not take the test because it was last year when the whole school year was online and I didn’t want to take the test. But the thing is, I want to take “Introduction to Biology” for the spring 2022 semester at the cc I’m attending and I don’t know if it is going to look weird on my transcript? I took Introduction to chemistry this fall 2021 semester and I got an A, so I am done with my chemistry credits for both gen ed and my high school. So for the spring semester of 2022 its either I take biology for the credit or I take no science class. My guidance counselor suggested that I take “Biology 1” at the cc, which is biology for people who want to become a nurse and its on the same rigorous level as AP Bio, probably even harder, not sure? But I don’t want to take Biology 1 and would rather take Introduction to Biology because 1. I’m not gonna major in anything that needs biology, I just need the general education credit. 2. I am currently taking AP Calculus and Spanish 3 and APES at my Highschool, and I’m also studying for the ACT so I would rather take an easier bio class to not be stressed out. Also I don’t want to take it in my senior year because I am planning on taking physics at my Highschool for the whole academic year. But I don’t know if it is gonna look weird on my transcript if I took biology twice, and Im not even planning on doing anything with biology… I just want the credit to finish the gen ed requirement.

Sum it up: Basically I am worried if I take “Introduction to Biology” for spring 2022 semester in my junior year in dual enrollment is going to look weird on my transcript since I took AP Biology in 10th grade with an A- but didn’t get the credit. Should I take Intro to Bio, or Bio 1, or maybe just not think about biology until I graduate since I already took a one biology class in high school?

I don’t think you need another biology class. Have you taken a physics class yet?

nope, Im planning to take physics next year in my senior year at my high school.

Will the HS allow you to take the class? They may not give you credit or pay for it if they consider it the same class.
