Need help in choosing dual enrollment courses

Hi CC, I am in the process of selecting my dual enrollment schedule next year and would like some input. Here are the classes I would be taking at my high school:

Spanish 4
AP Spanish
AP Government and Economics
AP Literature
AP Art History
AP Psychology

I have room for 2-3 dual enrollment classes this fall. Here are some that stood out to me. What would you pick if you were in my shoes/which ones would be the most impressive?

Biotechnology and Human Health
Introduction to Bioinformatics
Biotechnology and Society
Biotechnology Laboratory Methods - Molecular Techniques
Biotechnology Laboratory Methods - Microbial and Cell Culture Techniques
General Microbiology
General Bacteriology
Heat, Waves, Light, and Modern Physics (comes after AP Physics C)
Differential Equations for Science and Engineering
Introduction to Linear Algebra

There is also an option to take a class that covers both Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. Would that be recommended for time's sake or would it most likely not include a lot of vital information?

Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this lol :)

I would take a math class since there isn’t a math in there anyway. I’d go with differential equations for science and engineering since I’m going into engineering.

I donno you as a student- but if you have a record of straight A’s and great work ethic- pick whatever you want. If you don’t, just know that whatever you take as dual enrollment stays on your college transcript forever, and could lower your starting college GPA.

I’m in microbiology at a univ right now and it’s fun!

@futurepmhnp I don’t think it will be too difficult for me to get an A. I mean it’s definitely doable - I’ve gotten all A’s so far with mostly AP classes. And I didn’t know that about dual enrollment classes. Are you sure it counts if you attend a different college than where you took the DE class? If so, good thing I got an A in Calc III last term…phew lol

When you start taking college classes for college credit, your college transcript has started. Changing universities does not change you transcript.

What if the credit doesn’t transfer? The classes I am taking are at a local community college and the credits are only accepted by CSUs.

I took dual enrollment classes, and they are not factored into my GPA. shows up as transfer credit like the rest of my APs. It shows that I took the class, how many credits it was worth, but no grade is reported.

They still matter if/when you apply to grad school, as you would need to submit all transcripts from postsecondary institutions.

But if grad schools saw that they were courses taken in high school, they wouldn’t factor them in at all would they? It seems weird that they would consider anything outside of my undergrad years for admissions.
