Dilemma With SAT Scores!!

<p>I really don't know what to do right now. I am applying early to three colleges, and I sent in my first SAT when I took the test. I then took the SAT again, but didn't send in the scores, which was good because I did worse on two of the sections. So, all three colleges have my first test but not my second, and they all accept score choice, so there isn't any technical problem with that.</p>

<p>However, I realized that I had put both of my tests on the self reported score sections on all of my applications. So basically, I reported two tests, but the colleges only have one from the College Board. My question is whether or not this is a problem, and if I should send in my second test now. Sending scores takes at least a week, and one of my applications has been in for a month now, and I turned in my other two this week, so if I do send in the scores, then they will be very late.</p>

<p>To summarize: I sent in one test, self reported two, and am wondering whether it is necessary to send in the other, even though it will be very very late. Thank you!!</p>

<p>I wouldn’t think it would be a problem. The only scores they are going to base their decision on are the ones sent by the Collegeboard. My understanding is that these colleges use computer programs to screen all the scores and that select out the highest scores for each section, and these are what your application is judged on. So it is likely that the admissions committee will never know what scores you actually have Collegeboard send in anyway.</p>

<p>They accept score choice. You have sent an official score. There is no requirement to send other regardless of whether you reported it in app. They go by official scores they receive so what is in app isn’t going to mean anything of importance.</p>
