Sending SAT Two Reports to Schools

Out of confusion, I made two collegeboard acounts and took tests on each of them. Now that I've sent scores from both acounts to my colleges, I'm worried that they will only look at one report because usually a student has one report with all the scores. Even if the college acknowledges that they have received my SATs, I'm not sure whether they received both set of scores.

Is this a problem? Should I let the admissions office know about this?

I would DEFINITELY let the admissions offices know about this. They're going to be very confused when they get two collegeboard score reports from one name, while only one application. I mean, at the very least, it shows that you care enough about your application to that school that you're willing to put in the time to make sure they realize what happened.

Would this be something I should put in the additional information section a lot of colleges use? I didn't even think this would be a big deal!

Has anyone else ever made my unfortunate mistake? I'm nervous because it is so late in the application process...

I don't understand your problem clearly enough - you registered for 2 separate tests on 2 different accounts and sent scores to the same colleges?? and I don't see a problem in a college receiving two score reports for 2 different testings, and all this is based on the assumption that 2 accounts for one person automatically means 2 separate CB records....i mean, you still retain the same personal info. i mean, having 2 accounts creates a problem for you, and not for the colleges....I'd rather you call Collegeboard to find out what will happen in your case. It's not much of a problem at all, though I don't understand your situation fully. That's the best thing to do, before putting in something in your application that may turn out being unnecessary. Anyway, if it turns out to be, you can always email the colleges to alert them on the development.

Even with the same personal info, most colleges receive one score report for each student, which lists EVERY score for that student. In my case, I have two score sheets going to each college. I'm afraid that colleges will either look at just one sheet, neglecting scores on the other report or that colleges will simply become confused.

I have collegeboard and they are merging the acounts in the next couple of weeks. However, this is after I have sent out all of my reports.

OK, I get it now. You created two accounts for 2 sat testings. and one score report won't contain the score history contained in the other...

Everything the college receives in your name will be considered, and they can't neglect anything. well, confusion is likely, and also not so likely. but you can always let them know this thru your app, or by email.
