Dilemma

<p>I'm a warren engineer and got a late enrollment time. I ended up getting math20B, and waitlisted for all my other classes. (ECE15 #57, Chem6A #17, WCWP10A #3). I heard they were going to open up more seats for ECE15 and Chem6A so i'm hoping ill get into those. The problem is i dont think i'll get into WCWP10A since its a required class and people dont usually drop it.</p>

<p>So now i need to know what to replace that class with. If i want to get ahead on my lower division course, the only options i have is ECE25 (currently full with people on waitlist as well) or Phys2A (full as well).</p>

<p>Another option is to start my GE classes. Since I'm an engineer, i do area studies. I plan to do Econ for my Social Science AS and i am exempt from Econ1 so i only need to do two upper division Econ courses, which i am unable to take at this moment i believe. So for my Humanities and Fine Arts AS, i wanted to do Phil27 as my lower division course so it can also fulfill my Ethics and Society GE at the same time. However, i can't take Phil27 unless i finish WCWP10A-B, so that's not an option.</p>

<p>So my problem is i have no clue what to do. I don't think i'll get into WCWP10A and i have no other class i need to take. I prefer to have 16 units as well. What should i do?</p>

<p>I was told by an advisor that they’d be opening up a new section of ECE15. So you should be good there.</p>

<p>I heard that they’re opening sections of CHEM6A, but I heard from friends so I don’t know how accurate that information is.</p>

<p>WCWP10A, you’re pretty much screwed even if you’re number 1 on the waitlist. VERY few people drop this course.</p>

<p>Dude, I’m having pretty much the same problems as you… :confused: I only have two legit classes (Math20A and ECE15). I’m not sure what else I can do. I placed out of Chem with my AP exam and as an EE major that’s all the Chem I need. I can’t take PHYS2A without MATH20B and PHYS2A is superwaitlisted anyway. I can’t take my lowerdiv AS courses because I already took them and they’re being transferred. I can’t take Ethics and Society because I don’t have Warren Writing…
