Chem6A - Currently all 40 seats filled. 16 on the waitlist, but from what everyone is saying on the forum, they're going to open more. So should i just waitlist? I heard of some problems of more seats being opened, but people are still stuck on the waitlist so do i need to constantly check for open spots?

Math20B - Total of 30 seats, all filled with 2 on waitlist. Should i just waitlist? What are the chances of me getting in? I expected at least a few more to waitlist before my time tomorrow so i'll probably be out of the 10%.

WCWP10A - Total of 15 seats with 2 on the waitlist. This is already over the 10% and i dont suspect a lot of people to drop a mandatory writing course. Should i switch to a GE?

ECE15 - Total of 120 seats with 55 on waitlist. KingsElite suspects them to open up more seats, so should i just enroll it in anyways?

Well let’s see what we got here. First off, do you have other required classes that you could take instead? If not, find them quickly. Really what you want to do here, is enroll in all of those and keep a VERY close watch on your other possible classes (as well as these). If they look like they’re going to fill up, go with your backups. Then you’ll need to watch your first choices in case any spots open up. I’ve had to check Tritonlink multiple times a day for situations like these. I also feel like they should be opening up more for WCWP 10A, but I don’t have any proof or anything. It’s purely speculation.

Looking at my 4 year plan on the website, there seems to be no required class. For the rest of my freshmen year, i’m going to have to take physics and some GEs. And physics needs to be taken along with my math class, so i cant do that.

What exactly do i do with my backups? Do i put those as my classes and just hope a class opens up or should i waitlist and if i dont get in, i switch to my backups?

^Waitlist and switch to your backups if they look like they’re going to fill up. What college are you again? I feel like there are plenty of GEs you could be taking if you don’t get the classes you want.

^there are a lot of late afternoon classes open on page 3 when you search mathematics subject. I’m not a fan of evening classes either haha (only chem 6a is cutting into it :/), I’m going to register 5:00-5:50, which is still pretty late for me but better than mornings haha ><

I feel better having registered a space in a class, but I’m starting to wonder if I should just take the risk and waitlist a better time… the numbers aren’t too bad, but ehh I feel more secure having a solid, registered class ):

I feel like 3 people could drop that section. I would sign up for it, but keep an eye on all the other times. If it looks like they’ll all fill up, switch to an open one and hope that enough people drop from your first choice time so you can switch back. With the Area Studies though, you have plenty of classes to pick from that you can take if you need to. And yes you can get from WLH to Center in 10 minutes walking.

^ oh I use the schedule of classes, select “mathematics” in the subject tab and search (: for some reason, the class on page 3 has way more open spaces then all the math 20b classes listed on page 2.

and yea thats the one I’m signing up for haha, good luck! sept 3 victim like me ;_;
