Yeah, it’s not the CC group and many of the folks are only able to come because they received travel scholarships. I think they probably are expecting something fast food or similar.
Wonder if there is a meeting space or lounge in the hotel you can use to get some thing delivered.
I once went to a taco themed party catered by Moe’s.
Corner bakery is another nice place that delivers gourmet sandwich trays, salads and dessert bites.
The rest of our meals & meetings are I’ll be handled by the organizers. I just thought it would be nice to pick a place and whomever shows up can join in for the 1st meal when some folks are arriving and after check in.
Trying to cater food in seems like too much organizing, especially with folks arriving from all over, trains, planes and automobiles. At casual places, folks can eat as much or little as they prefer and pay accordingly. I’m not hosting all these folks to a meal. They can decide whether they feel like trekking over or we could even just meet up at the hotel rooftop bar, which has happy hour 4-8pm.
If the weather’s nice, I’d take advantage of that rooftop bar. I’m sure they food to order as well. Sounds nicer and easier than Moe’s.
So much great food in DC…a shame to eat from a chain!
Well, according to the weather app, thundershowers are predicted for Monday, so indoors sounds much cozier than being caught in the rain. 
May have to scour the indoor hotel options more closely. Who knows, the weather may change and/or cooperate.
