Diploma with Honors vs Another AP

So you get 15 "classes" to make your schedule. My senior is shaping up to look like this.
AP Physics II (3p) (3)
AP Calc AB (3p) (6)
AP English Lit (3p) (9)
AP Gov (2p) (11)
AP Macro+Micro (2p) (13)
Now I can either take AP Psychology, AP Statistics or Theater Arts+an elective. Doing Theater Arts gets me an honors diploma, while doing the AP's would give me just a regular diploma.
You can also skip Psychology I and just jump straight to AP Psychology, but it seems like a lot to learn in just 60 days.
Which one looks best?

Id do theather Arts honestly. It doesn’t really have anything to do with how it looks, but you already have 6 APs and you’ll need time to do college apps. It’ll give you a rest class and also has the added bonus of giving you an honors diploma.

Since you get accepted to colleges before you get your diploma, does the Honor’s really matter?
It would just seem like an AP math course would look better than a freshman level arts class.

Unless you’ve cranked out all your essays, you are underestimating the workload involved with college apps. 6 AP’s is more than enough. The difference between 6 AP’s and 7 AP’s in infinitesimal for college admissions, unless taking Theatre Arts over AP Stats will cause the GC to check a box other than “most demanding” on the Secondary School Report. See upper right corner on the link below.

At the end of they day, though, you should take the class that interests you more, not which one will “look best,” because, IMO, I do not believe any admissions officer will have a preference for one over the other 2. The Honors Diploma will not factor into college admissions, but it can give you a sense of personal achievement.

Good luck.
