Just out of curiosity, did anyone at orientation hear them say that we need to bring our high school diplomas with us to I-Day? Also if you are already in college, does this apply to you? I might have heard wrong though.

never heard that. i do know you have to send in your final transcript

Just make sure that your high school counselor sends your final transcript to the Academy.

Isn't the day transcripts are due coming up pretty soon? Like June 10 or something?

yes, the date is june 10th

wow, mine won't even be ready then!

Missmuff potter graduated on the 18th. Spent the week visiting her sister in the hospital. Left for her Aunt in Denvers house to try and acclimitize for a couple of days, and then inprocessed. She really got no break last summer. I had to pick up her transcript and bring it to I-day.

anyone see the address we should send them to?

nevermind i found it. for those interested:

HQ USAFA/RRS
2304 Cadet Drive, Suite 200
USAF Academy, CO 80840-5025

I guess I must have heard wrong then. Thanks though

Is there a formal form we give to our counselor or do we just go ask them to send a final transcript?

we just talk to the counselor

ok, thanks. i'd better get on that, she is pretty forgetful :(

just tell them to send one. our school has a form they give the seniors w/ a list of the colleges to send them to (up to 3 :))

yeah, I just gave the address to my counselor, and he'll get to it when he can. He has cancer and was supposed to die about a year ago. The doctors don't know why he's still alive. He's on "borrowed" time. So, just as long as the Academy gets my transcripts, I'm grateful.
