Dipping in Boarding Schools- Chewing Tobacco

Hey, so recently a friend of mine sent me an article from the Hill student newspaper about dipping. For those of you who don't know, it is chewing tobacco. More like sucking out the taste so you can get the "good stuff" and then spitting the rest out, so you do 't even have to swallow. 29-60% of the male students at boarding school do this, and it usually costs about ten dollars a week.
The Hill is my top choice for boarding school due to my sibling being there. I don't want to go to such a crazy school, could this affect me? And how? Will it be a problem? This school is the most expensive in tuition by about 5-10 thousand dollars, to my other choices (which are almost totally out of the question) and I'm not sure about this problem.
I won't ever dip, but this school's rep isn't sounding too good.
I'm seventh grade by the way.

Firstly, this should be in Prep School Admissions/Cafe

Secondly, this may be a popular thing at the school, but like al forms of drug use, is probably not as wide spread as people believe. It depends on who you’ll be friends with, but I’m sure most people don’t have a problem with it or other people doing it.

Thirdly, have you talked to your sibling about it?
