Direct Decedent of Benjamin Franklin?

Hey

I am a direct descendant of Benjamin Franklin... Is this something Penn would care about or should I not bothering mentioning in it in my application? Sorry if I sounds like I am being too worrisome; I am just curious on what yinz have to say.

Thanks

No, you are not a “decedent” of Benjamin Franklin–you are a descendant. A decedent is someone who has died.

I appreciate the correction of my spelling but that was not at all helpful. What is the point of answering me but completely ignoring my question?

I can’t tell if you are trolling or not. Either way, no, it will not help. There are many direct descendents of his and the University no longer needs to “please” Mr. Franklin. It would be hard to prove anyways. It will not help you at all. I mean go ahead and mention it, but don’t expect it to do much.

Umm, i don’t know, I think its kinda cool. Mention it if you want!

It’s called “straw grasping”

I was simply helping you ask the correct question. :)

No, it won’t matter. Also, think of how many direct descendants of BF there are by now. If he were your father or grandfather it might be of some minor interest, but obviously that’s not the case.

Hey, Benjamin Franklin is a BF of mine. Get it? BF? Best Friend? Benjamin Franklin? #Predesisionstress
