Director of Admission email

Hi guys!

So I received this email today:

Dear _____,

The Dean of Admission and I are interested in providing you more information about the opportunities available at Princeton University.
If you would like to reply now, please click here.
We look forward to hearing from you.

The message also mentions that Princeton got my email address from the Student Search Service of the College Board.

I know this email isn't really significant and that it's only early recruiting for next year (I'm a junior).

I was just wondering if anyone else had received it too ^^. Do they send it to everyone? Or to people who told CB they were considering Princeton? Or do they select SAT scores within a certain range... ? Because I'm kinda nervous about my SAT scores, I was wondering if that email meant they were okay for Princeton.

Sorry if that's a dumb question aha :)

I got it too

PSAT: 213 =/

I got it too. PSAT 219.

Princeton may be starting to advertise more (that’s one of the reasons Princeton didn’t receive as many applications as Harvard and Stanford – ~22,000 vs. Harvard’s ~29,000 and Stanford’s ~30,000). I didn’t receive an e-mail about that last year when I was a junior, so I assume that’s the case.

My daughter got one too ( I am using her computer). She is a junior. I know that she got a 34 on the ACT and took it again hoping for a 35 or 36, but I have no idea if she got it. She has also taken the SAT and PSAT, but I do not know her scores-though she was at least “commended” on the PSAT.
