What accommodations does the disability office in your college/university give to students with depression and anxiety? Which ones are you using or have used in the past?

Hmm, nobody want to confess lol

I would move this to the parent forum, they may know what their students have used

and the title is confusing,

what's confusing about the title. I think anxiety and depression are some sort of a psychological disability.

If the title is confusing then perhaps you need disability accommodations....

I feel like many people struggle admitting they have a psychological disability and therefore do not seek accommodations for fear of the stigma it might attach to their professors. While I have accommodations for my chronic illnesses that include extra time off from class due to frequent illness or exhaustion, I do not know if something similar would be offered for depression.

Schedule a proper meeting with the head of the Students Disabilities Offices of your University and ask about a thing or two.

Your parents might have to help you with regards to obtaining documentation and all of that good stuff.

Don't fret, truthseeker, it is not a big deal. Really. It isn't. You just go and do what you gotta do and then go from there, eh? Also, there is a L.D. and whatnot area of this site. So, maybe you can go over there and see what is happening?

Talk to someone right away. Do it. And let your parents know how you're feeling.
