If I recieved two saturday schools in my time at highschool will that impact my chances of admissions to above average colleges? Also should I put that I got 2 detentions if they showed up on my disciplinary record?
(P.S. why is it that the supplements for the common application seem to be just as long as the normal applications for each of the schools?)

What did you do?

The question that is usually asked inquries about "suspensions or expulsions". Is your Saturday school a suspension? If not, it does not need to be mentioned.
If it counts as a suspension, it will depend on the offense whether it will negatively impact your application. It sounds like a minor consequence and I doubt there will be any problem.

the question is "Have you ever been expelled, suspended, dismissed, or had any disciplinary action taken against you by an educational institution?"

I figured "any disciplinary action" meant I had to put it? So would stupid little detentions be under that too.

What does your guidance counselor advise? Does the counselor report discuss detentions? Didn't your school go over this in the info sessions that your school counselor held?

"Didn't your school go over this in the info sessions that your school counselor held?"

Our counselor never did such a thing. Also I wouldn't be able to ask him until after the deadline for some of the schools

Please respond, I need to finish this with in the next day.

Unless it's something big, worthy of suspension or expulsion, and the college will somehow find out about it from your transcript or your guidance counselor's or teachers' comments, you don't need to put it.

Um I don't think detentions are mentioned in the transcript.
