Hi, I’ve been lurking around here for the past few months, which has been incredibly helpful, but I could use some advice. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year as a junior, and as a result, I'm on a half schedule taking only 4 classes as a senior. So, I have 2 years of science and 3 of math, which is not incredibly competitive. I’ve been weighing for weeks if it would benefit me to disclose this under any “additional comments” section or if it would backfire and would make admissions wonder if I could handle college at all. As Fibromyalgia ranks, I am thankfully rather mild, but I still live with daily, nonstop, widespread pain. I can handle four classes well, but asking for 7 week after week is more than I wish for. I’ve poked around looking for and reading some ancient threads but I’m still unsure.

Does anyone have light to shed on this or what others in similar situations have done?
