Discouraged Yale Applicant - Chance Me?

I’m not into chancing or stats but my daughter got in which was a shock because she does NOT have a business/charity, perfect GPA, 1600 on SAT, 36 on ACT. She does her best in school, did not try to conform to a school but chose schools that she thought would be a good fit for her (with advice from college counselor). She enjoyed her EC’s of dance, theater & voice. She added to her BS community by being a proctor and a tour guide. She is actually a very laid back, non competitive person. Yale was only on e of her schools. The others were also equally a good fit to her personality and she only applied to schools that she felt that she could be happy at so she has decisions to make. She doesn’t have any bad choices or any schools where she will be unhappy at. Also ask yourself why you are choosing schools based on how “Elite” it is. My daughter applied to schools that she really liked, some of which we never heard of until fairly recently. Explore all of your options and Good luck to you.
