Englishjw, actually I lied to you! In the Discoswat invitation it said all candidates would be notified, however one of my friends failed to recieve an email. When she called admissions, Stacy Jordan told her that those who did not recieve an email were rejected. Kinda ruthless…

Your latest information doesn’t sound entirely right either. I’m a father and my son received a phone call but did not receive an email. He is thrilled and looks forward to meeting all of you. We know they had his email address since he had gotten an earlier email about his transcript. I assume the number of applications must have been an immense amount of work for admissions.

I’m really interested in how many people applied… anyone know? ;)

Has anyone made travel arrangements yet with BTI?
Do you get to choose your schedule (what time to depart, etc.) or do they do if for you?

^ I’m wondering the same thing. I called admissions and registration is between 11am -12pm but on the DivOH email it says 3:00pm. Everything is just so confusing with this. When are the papers being mailed in? We only have until Monday to fax everything and make travel plans so…

I’m going and beyond excited!

According to the sample schedule they have on the website, registration’s actually at 3, but there are campus tours and such earlier in the day. I just emailed BTI my info and they promptly responded with travel plans to and from Philly’s airport. I bet if you need a certain time, you could mention it in your email / phone call and they’ll try to accommodate you as best they can.

Oh, also, the email made it sound like we’d be getting information in the mail after we’ve mailed travel arrangements and faxed/mailed the parent consent form.

^ How can we fax the parent consent form if it hasn’t been mailed to us?

Decided to finally make an account here, anyways, I’ve already faxed my parental consent form, anyone know if they send an e-mail verifying that? Because, as stated before, mailing everything seems to cut it a bit close, so getting all the actual packet might not be until after the 13th, and after that, it’d be too late to send the Parental Consent form, just in case they never actually got my faxed form. But Im really excited to go as well. >w<

You can get it on the website, there’s a link, after clicking the DS! website link enclosed in your acceptance email

^ Thanks a ton! :]

No problem.

ah! accepted from the east coast. (: just decided to make an account 'cause i’m super excited. and i wonder when that facebook page’ll be functional…

Hahaa yeah me too I requested to join but I haven’t been accepted yet. Oh well!

@Flowers: That’s basically my situation. xD. Can anyone provide insight into my question regarding verification of the overnight form?

Emerald, you should probably try calling tomorrow morning to make sure the fax arrived smoothly.

That’ll probably work, thanks! I was thinking of just emailing, but I feel like they probably get bombarded with them as well. xD.
I also just worry about stuff like this in general a lot. Well, idk if it’s a lot, but w/e.

i’m kinda worried too. xD i actually just received and mailed my consent form today (why did they send it so late and request to receive it so early? confused) and hopefully they’ll get it on time. i sent them an email letting them know the form’s on its way and that i’m definitely attending but gosh…i think i’m cutting it a little close. although maybe the “send it by the 13th or you’re screwed” rule is only meant for people who made travel plans through bti? i’m close enough to drive and get there in 30 minutes. huh. oh well! i’m sure everything’ll work out.

I still havent recieved my consent form, hence the faxing. xD. Yea, that’s a bit odd as well. Although, mail shouldn’t take that long. :/. Im pretty sure the 13th is for everyone. Yea, everything should probably work out fine.

I’m faxing too just to avoid the furious “send it by the 13th or you’re screwed” mentioned above :p
