<p>Has anyone heard of Discovery Weekend at Washington University? I recently received an invitation to attend, and I'm wondering what criteria was used to identify those that are invited and if its worth attending, considering I'll miss two schooldays and a Saturday during the peek of college application season.</p>
<p>Did you receive the invitation or a small postcard that said “Mark your calendar”? Because I only received the postcard and I am currently waiting for the official invitation. Also, if you did get the invitation, when did you receive it?</p>
