This is a thread in which younger high school students can air their worries, share information for those ignorant of how the whole process goes (like me), and for casual chat for those young eaer's.
What are everyone's stats thus far? What are some strategies for more effective study sessions and for information retention? This is pretty much an open discussion about preparations; we all are in the same boat. Well good luck to everyone in all endeavors, may the most disciplined and the most worthy win! lol

Hi! I am a freshman in high school. My sister is a senior this year, so I am learning more about the application process. I took the SATs in 7th and 8th grades for the CTY program, and I took the PSATs this year. Because I have seen the stresses of applying to colleges, I shall probably start to visit schools next year. The most important things for us to do right now are to get involved in ECs that really interest us, and to get good grades.

omo no offense...but wouldnt this post be more approproate for the "high school life" thread...feel free to keep it here but i doubt youll get much discussion...people on this particular site are stressed out seniors trying to make big choices in picking colleges...

Yeah i know but where is that thread? I'm quite new at this particular message board, so i don't know where everything is yet.

o no problem...go to the main page for this site...where it has all the thread listing..."college searc and selection", "college admission" "ivy league" "parents" etc...scroll down and youll see "high school life" under pre-college issues...go there...they have a lot of discussion about high school

Also how do I just move an entire thread

heh. i am just an oddball cuz i am not a stressed out senior. i am a stressed out junior and i barely ever go to the high school life site.
