@YungLatin Yes - I just found out she received the Tuition Exchange scholarship (full tuition) and that’s why the award page had changed. It’s completely separate from distinguished scholars and I’m guessing we’re not in the running for that, but we are very excited anyway!
Update: Got notice saying that they are finalizing the decisions and sending them out by next Saturday.

Contacted again and some invitations have been sent out for this week and the end of this week will be the end of invites.

I contacted admissions. They said they are still finalizing and they will be sent out by the end of the month, so I guess by Tuesday.

I don’t understand it either. The weekend is less than 2 weeks away. It doesn’t provide the students much time to plan.
@bluehen90 Do you think you spoke to someone in admissions who was knowledgeable? Earlier on in this thread someone said that they were told all the invitations had been sent out. I hope there are more to come!
@jmom2016 I believe so. My daughter also contacted them last week. I don’t know why there is a hold up, but it seemed clear that they were not all sent out yet. Keeping our fingers crossed. Good luck!

I am skeptical. They sent out confirmations on Friday as well as the program guide for the competition.

I’m not surprised they are all out. It’s disappointing. Delaware was very generous to my D in terms of merit scholarship, but it is still expensive for OOS.
I agree. We were hoping for more too. The scholarship she received just wasn’t enough. Oh well, she’s off to Ohio State and is happy.
FYI, there are other threads covering DiScho weekend. I’m the parent of a current UD sophomore Eugene du Pont Scholar (the full ride award) and she’s been very happy with her education and opportunities there so far. FWIW, she chose UD over CME’s Engineering School.
