How can I do this? Is there a waiver or something I need to fill out, or do I just enroll at a community college?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

pick the JC(s) closest to you, look them up on assist.org, print a copy of the agreement, and take the classes. all of them have already been approved by UCSD to replace hum classes.

-mildly miffed that i took the H3-H5 equivalent at a JC even though i did H3 at UCSD and got a B for my efforts ...

i heard u had to take hum1-3 at ucsd, and can only take 4-5 at a JC. is that true, or can u take 3-5 at a jc?

look at assist.org ... you can even pass out of H1 - H5 (that's how transfers do it)

I keep hearing that people ditch it. Why would they?

I want to skip HUM because it takes up too much space in my schedule -- I'd rather focus on classes I WANT to take instead of HUM.

Thanks Astrina, coming through for the clueless as usual!

i skipped all of hum 1-5 using jc classes

Can you give me an idea of how many JC classes I've got to take per HUM course?

Nevermind! I found it on assist.org. Thanks again!!

awesome, i LOVE hearing it when you guys solve it yourselves ;)

which jc did you pick to skip your hum classes? I cant find hum equivalents on assist.org. only hild equivalents
