<p>I was wondering how the diversity and academics are like at Brandeis. I know they have a lot of Jewish, but how a lot? Do they demand students to deal with heavy workloads? How is it compared to the large state schools like University of Wisconsin-Madison?</p>
<p>it's approximately 55-60% Jewish... but feels like more than that to many people, especially Jews who aren't too religious.</p>

<p>i visited a couple years ago, and it seemed it was more like 80-90% to me. i'm guessing it has changed over the years though. brandeis is great :]</p>
<p>Is it common to see minorities like Asians or African Americans there? If so, how many?</p>
