Diversity vs. affirmative action?

Ok I have this major dilemma! One of the colleges that I am interested in isn't very diversity (4% black) and I really want to apply for a school with major diversity. But here is the thing: affirmative action. Since they are seeking out diversity, they would probably give me a full scholarship to go to their school..
I am also thinking this way: I should not turn down a school just because its lacking major diversity. Maybe all the other "diverse" students would think the same way I am thinking and not apply to the school because it lacks major diversity and the school would never be diverse!!

Please help! What do you think I should do??

I think you should wait until you actually get the decisions then see what kinds of scholarships you get, if any. Then you can make your decision rather than counting on a full scholarship without knowing if you’ll actually get one.

jgraider is right.

Don’t discount this school at this point. Apply and if they do offer you a lot of money, at least that can be a safety for you.

That’s a big leap. If your stats are high enough they might offer a scholarship…

YeS you guys are right, but the reason why I said that they would probably offer a full scholarship is since they probably really would have a interest in me and they want a higher minority population, they would give me money to go. But of course if I have good grades which i do :]
