<p>Any school will be a bit of an adjustment for you, probably, but I don't think that Rice would be moreso than other schools. Houston does have a fairly large Asian population, but it is primarily Chinese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, and Filipino. I believe that you said on another thread that you're from Singapore. Is it important for you to have a large group of students from your country? If so, PM me- my school seems to have a large population of students from Singapore. (I'm not a Rice student, just a student from Houston who has spent a lot of time around Rice.)</p>
