Do AICE Courses prepare you for AP Exams?

Does taking an AICE class prepare you to take the equivalent AP Exam?
In case you don’t know what AICE classes are, they are classes that you take in order to get the AICE Diploma (the program is somewhat similar to the IB program and its diploma).
You can find more information on the classes on http://www.cie.org.uk/

For classes like AICE Chemistry and AP Chemistry, or AICE US History and AP US History, are the AICE courses viable (do they teach the same things)?

I know that it is definitely possible as I have friends that have taken AP exams and gotten 5’s just because of the content that they covered in their AICE class, but if anyone here has done it as well I would appreciate if you could tell me for what classes this works. Thanks!

Hey there. The AICE classes cover A level content (or part of it anyway). So yes, it would prepare you for the AP exams.
To get the AICE Diploma, you need 6 credits from the different subject groups, with 3 subjects at A level or 6 subjects at AS level (or any number of subjects at AS level, and continue at least 3 to A level). Also, it depends on which AP exams you’re interested in.
