Do ALL applicants need to submit 7th semester transcripts?

(Excluding the high stat applicants)
Do the Cal States require ALL its normal applicants to submit these? My friend and i applied to the same school and she has nothing on her to-do-list while I have to submit my transcript. Her GPA is lower than mine (3.5…I have a 4.1) Do they require these documents based on your self-reported grades?? :(( Help, She’s freaking out about this! Any replies will be helpful x:)

btw if it matters, the school is CSU Fullerton

oh we also applied with the same exact major!!

CSU Fullerton asked for 7th semester transcripts from my younger son whom was accepted with distinction and asked to apply to the Honors college.

Maybe there is an EI threshold in which they ask for these transcripts. What is your friends EI?

This is from the CSU Fullerton website:::

7th Semester High School Transcript, only if this item is on your ‘To Do List’ in your Student Center (not required for admitted students).
Due Mar 21, 2017

7th Sem High School Transcript is a full official transcript showing all grades through the first semester of your senior year. It is requested if you are not admitted on your self-reported college prep coursework, GPA, and test scores. We need to receive it before the posted deadline date. We withdraw applications from processing if these transcripts are not received by the deadline. If you order your transcript through Parchment/Docufide, read the instructions carefully so that the transcript will include your first semester’s grades. Transcripts sent without the first semester senior year grades will be destroyed.

@Gumbymom her EI is 3300. Does that mean she is not being considered anymore?

Based on the EI thresholds for CSU Fullerton that I have seen in the past few years, it is low. You want to be in the 3700-3800 range but until she gets a decision, there is no way of knowing.
