I received my ap scores during the summer and one of them was a 2 for ap literature. On the ap website, it states that AP scores of 2 are ''possibly qualified.'' I know that they won't accept a 2 but will a 2 for example in AP lit, allow me to skip a course and go to a higher course or allow me to skip a quarter or something of freshmen English ? will it allow any benefits at all ?

No credit or benefit for the CSUs or UCs. I cannot speak for every college but I am unaware of any for which a 2 score will get you anything.

No credit units or subject credit.

However, a 2 in a foreign language AP test may allow placement into a course more advanced than the beginner course in that language. Example:
[Course Offerings & Placement |](http://spanish-portuguese.berkeley.edu/undergraduate/course-offerings-lower-division/)

Can you take the AP English Comp exam? If so, do that. You probably could get a 3 w/o even taking the class if you study a bit. AP English Comp is MUCH easier.

Ask your school if you can pay for that test even tho you didn’t take the class.

My younger son couldn’t fit AP English Comp in his junior year schedule, so the AP teacher let him sign up for the exam. He got a practice book, did a little self-study and got a 5…which he knew would place him out of both Frosh Comp courses at his univ. After that, he didn’t bother to take AP Lit because he knew from his older brother that it was a harder exams, and younger son isn’t a big fan of literature. lol
