Just another dumb question. so how many of you actually laugh when you type it? lol ;)

Sometimes.

it's really just a placefiller for me most of the time..when I have nothnig to say.

Same here. ^^

Lol, nope. But, I do sometimes smile. :)

Yeah, like the other posters said, I also use it as a place-holder.

I chuckle.

lol./****************/

rarely. if i really am LOLing i actually say, "im actually LOLing" not just "lol".

lol .

lol well i smile- and i guess most ppl do I mean can you imagine yourself laughing out loud, tears coming out ur eyes, and actually typing LOL and then send it?

i use "lol" when i find something amusing or ironic. more than a place-holder, but short of actually laughing.

also, there are different lol's. "lol", "LOL", "LOL!!!!", and "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!". I perfected this art with my old friends.

I never use it.

If I actually laugh when I type something, I write "LMAO." If I type "LOL" its a chuckle or just a funny musing.

lol to me is when i smile at something amusing/funny

ROFLMAOOL

Oh yeeah.

I rarely ever use rofl or lmao. when i do I use them capltalized together:

ROFLMAO!!!!!

other than that. I don't really laugh.

hahaha...nice one stuck!

nope, i dont really laugh out loud, or people around me will doubt my sanity

another question:
do people actually ROFL?

i tried to do it once. it wasn't what I expected...

wats ROFL???????????????????
